Established in 2003, Grant Innovation emerged as a design firm specializing in the mechanical design of robotic instruments tailored for the demanding conditions of the oilfield industry. Our expertise lies in crafting instruments that operate in environments characterized by extremely high pressure (35 to 40 ksi) and elevated temperatures (400 to 450 oF). These instruments are equipped with cutting-edge electronics, sensors, valves, pumps, and seals, engineered to perform reliably in such challenging conditions.
We then expanded into the realm of devices and fixtures designed for researching and testing technologies destined for downhole applications. Recognizing the increasing need for comprehensive solutions, Grant Innovation evolved to become not just a design firm but a complete entity capable of handling the entire lifecycle of a project – from conception to manufacturing and ongoing customer support.

The company is owned and managed by Bill Grant, a Texas A&M graduate with a master’s in mechanical engineering. He has 30 years of industry experience developing robotic instruments, microfluidic devices, and test fixtures.
