Logging Tool Conveyer

An oilfield client wanted to simulate downhole logging conditions by moving a downhole tool past known rock formations in a lab environment. To meet these specific requirements, Grant Innovation designed and manufactured a motorized rail and carriage system. This system, under the control of a user-friendly custom interface on a PC, enables accurate simulation of any speed and direction profile required along the rail.

Our design incorporated essential safety features to ensure safe operations. Key project objectives, including cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery, were met with precision and commitment. Grant Innovation’s solution meets the client’s need for realistic simulation and also provides a reliable and user-friendly platform for controlled testing.
